[Nfbmo] A timely Response from A Representitive

Dear Gary and all,

Please note that the only amendment offered was one that Gene Coulter
mentioned in a previous e-mail.

Also, the FY 2013 budget is anticipated to be voted out of the House on
Thursday; the Senate will receive it on that day. Shortly after receipt of
the budget by the Senate, it is referred to the Senate Appropriations
committee, where Senate Committee Substitutes will be offered. Once these
substitutes are voted out of committee, the entire operating budget is
referred to the Senate floor for debate, where the debate is anticipated to
be extensive.

As has been noted, Republicans in the Senate are not at all pleased with the
cut to blind health care services; this was illustrated this afternoon
during debate on a bill to eliminate the printing of state agency calendars
and other unnecessary documents/publications.

If you have any questions concerning the legislative process, please feel
free to contact me. I follow this process as closely as one can, and will be
happy to attempt to answer any questions. If I do not know the answer, I am
committed to contacting the appropriate individual or individuals to seek it
out.

Sincerely,

Cory McMahon
