hi,

1. an employment specialist should be able to explain to the employer that
jaws can be modified and may in fact work with their customer service system
instead of walking away when the employer says 'sorry, jaws won't work with
our system'.

2. when there are clients who want to apply to a company with known adaptive
imcompatible systems such as convergsys and enterprise, and the engineer
that rsb favors can't solve the issue, why is that engineer still considered
the favorite for every situation?

Fellow Federationists

The rate of unemployment for the blind is between %70 and %80. The
Employment Research Committee (ERC) is working on identifying the barriers
to employment of the blind and possible solutions. Pleas state the barriers
that you believe contribute to blind unemployment and possible solutions.
Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated.

Cordially,

Jim Moynihan

ERC Chair
