The intent all along and it has been this way  for ten years that a person 
could either complete the form on their computer and print and mail it OR 
the could print the blank form and fill it out with any color ink they 
desired and mail.
Dang Nub it it is a non-issue.
Yes  attendees should be making hotel reservations *(573-635-1234) and you 
can register for the convention now by paper if you wish or of course wait 
for on-line registration

hi,

i think there are several issues here,
1 a misunderstanding of how the info was to be used.
good or bad, the info was meant to be printed then filled out with pen.

2 the form shouldn't have been protected.

3. Gene asked for people to make their *ROOM* reservation now, not pay for
convention items.
perhaps people could wait for the online version that the user can type in
the text boxes then print or submit online.
