Subject: State Convention Tours

Hi Gary,

Could you send this notice out so Chapter Presidents could inform members
who might like to take part?

Thanks!

Rita

The Jefferson City Visitor's Bureau is aware of our State Convention coming
to Jefferson City this year and would like to offer to anyone interested a
one hour tour of the old State Prison, a very historic landmark and one of
the oldest state prisons west of the Mississippi River. This prison has
housed many interesting inmates over the years. The tour could be scheduled
on Friday afternoon, April 12th and there would be a charge of just $5.00 as
the Bureau is a nonprofit agency itself. I need to know if there is enough
interest by April 1st as we will need drivers to transport our members from
the hotel to the prison site, about a mile.

Our State Capitol is also a very historic site and is just two blocks from
the hotel. Tours are given there, as well, and there is no cost .

I am aware that there will be three division seminars on Friday but want to
inform our members of this opportunity. Let me know if there are any
questions. My contact number is (573) 634-3865.
