My landlord's wife came this morning to inform me they want the house I have
rented for six and a half years for their son and daughter-in-law who desire
a larger place in which to live.
I have paid very low rent here and have 2 cats.
I have no lease and in contacting a place called Southeastern Legal Services
have learned that verbal notice works for them in this situation.
In addition, rents are high where I live because of gas drilling presently
going on. I have, of course, called everyone I know to begin looking for a
place for me to see. That includes people on the 2 boards on which I serve.
If any of you have suggestions of anything I could look into, it  would be
appreciated. Thanks.
