Do you Tweet? If so Did you today?

It's not too late. The more tweets, the more effective our campaign will be.

Be sure to include the hashtag in your message.

What's a Hashtag? It's the number sign so it should look like this: #fixwia

Missouri Senators

Sen. Claire McCaskill

@clairecmc

Sen. roy Blunt

@RoyBlunt

If you are new to Twitter,

Remember that a tweet can only be 140 characters.

That's simple for some and not so simple for some of us.

Facebook is a way to be heard too.

Both Sen. McCaskill and Senator Blunt are on Facebook.

So, if you don't Tweet, don't be left out.

Emails and phone calls work too!

Let's send a strong message that Section 511 of Title 5 does not belong in
WIA. It doesn't belong in today's society. After 75 years of more of the
same, it's time for new approaches to putting individuals who are blind and
disabled to work.

HI Legislative Directors,

I am happy to report that thanks to your efforts and the efforts of our
partners in our #FixWIA campaign, APSE, I have either seen tweets or been
told that the Senators of the following states have been asked at least once
to #FixWIA by striking 511 and the language that moves RSA from Labor to
Education. Kudos to the states that have had several tweets and emails sent
to their senators.

Illinois

Indiana

Kansas

Even if you see your state on the list, if you have not already, please
contact your Senators via email or twitter to ask them to please #Strike511
from WIA.

Thank so much for all of your work!! Let's see if we can break 40 states!

Tomorrow I'll send you the number of times #FixWIA was used on twitter.
Let's break 250!

You all rock!
