This year they do NOT charge the card when you make the reservation they use 
it only to hold the room. Next year's procedure will be different but I'll 
save that until then.

When making your room reservation with the Hotel for convention; if using a 
Credit or debit card to garentee  the room  does the Hotel charge the card 
at that time or does it use the card to hold the room.
