[Nfbmo] Ring that BELL

Not seeing any posts from our overly busy Bell ringers, let me just say that
the reports I am getting are that the students are enthusiastic, the staff
is very busy, and everyone seems to have a place that makes them feel good
about being part of the 2014 Missouri BELL Program. A number of people are
making significant sacrifices to help us. There are the people who live in
St. Louis who come and go every day to teach. There is Shelia Wright from
Kansas City who is spending two weeks away from her home and her husband to
participate. The same is true of Carol Coulter, my own wife, Debbie Wunder,
and let us not forget the newlyweds and how difficult it must be for Dacia
to be away from Justin. I keep waiting for him to invite me to the pancake
house-- a ritual meeting that some of our younger Federationist have on a
weekly basis to fill out there Wednesday evenings.

I want to thank everyone who is participating in the program and who has
participated by giving a contribution. We currently have five people
enrolled in the program. At first we were a little disappointed with this
number, but the staff tells me that, at this point in the program, they
think five people is about what they can handle. From what Debbie tells me,
I think we will come out of this program with some quotes from these young
folks that will really tug at our heartstrings. This is part of why we raise
the money we do, and I hope you feel is proud of the program as I feel.
Thank you for your wonderful support!

Gary
