Thought many of you may be interested in these meetings. They truly are
statewide and will be happening in most Missouri cities.

Regional Open House Meetings Announced to Finalize Local Transportation
Priority Lists with Missouri Citizens
The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) and regional planning
commissions will hold open house meetings across the state to ask residents
and stakeholders to weigh in on regional and community transportation
priorities that will accompany the transportation measure (Amendment 7) on
the August ballot.
This August, Missouri voters will be asked to decide on a ballot measure to
temporarily raise the sales tax by ¾ of a cent with all proceeds going
toward needed transportation improvements statewide. Prior to the election,
MoDOT will work with Missouri citizens to capture all of the funding
priorities for each region for the proposed revenue increase.
Through MoDOTs annual

Citizens Committee on Missouris Transportation Needs and last years
<http://www.missourionthemove.org/> On the Move long range planning effort,
the development of these draft regional and community priority lists is a
culmination of significant outreach and feedback from Missourians all across
the state over the past several years.
In order to engage the community around the final draft of regional and
community priorities, MoDOT is hosting multiple open houses in each of
Missouris seven districts. In addition, there will be several other
opportunities for the public to weigh in with their regional and community
priorities through the project website and a mobile feedback tour.
We invite you to attend to learn more about the regional priorities, how
they were developed, and offer your feedback on prioritization. We also hope
you will share this invite with friends, colleagues and others interested in
this important issue.
Note: Any additional open house meetings will be announced and posted on the
