[Nfbmo] Laws in Missouri for service animals

Actually, although the schools provide them partly for this purpose, I
would not recommend anyone use the doggy ID card in this way. Why?
The la does not require it. It is open enough to recognize that blind
and otherwise disabled people can train their own service dogs. If
I"D cards were required at every establishmments, no one could train
their own dog, or each person who did would have to go at great
lengths to acquire a license for their dog. This licensing process
would of course be costly and/or require the dog handler to travel
long distances.

I have a friend who recently wrote a book about her journey training
her own guide dogs. There are several others who have trained their
own service dogs to great success.
