[Nfbmo] Update on School Instruction in Braille Bill

Hello Friends,

Just a note to let you know that This bill has had some progress since
convention. HB 2569 has been voted out of the Select Committee on Education
as "Do Pass" and will need to go back to the House floor for third reading.


 

The bill has also been attached to HB 1611 to help increase the opportunity
to get through the entire process.  This bill has already been perfected by
the House and sent to the Senate. It has had two readings on the Senate
floor and has now been assigned to the Senate Committee on Education which
is chaired by Senator Pearce.  

 

Just 3 weeks left in the legislative session. Please stand ready for action
if needed.
