No, probably not.  The reality is that no matter what they do or say, it will not change the damage already done.  Sometimes, it is too little too late, and we just have to try to be strong, positive role models and believe that the philosophy of independence makes enough sense that it over shadows negative implications.  I think that members of the Federation do that very well on a daily basis, and we just need to help people understand that competence is the norm and not the exception.

It still took them until last Friday to take down their challenge for people to close their eyes and be a parent. I am glad they recognize the harm, but I'm not sure they really get it.
