Hi Holly,
Yes, it is very helpful. I appreciate your feedback. Hearing that Blackboard is available on the iPhone is great news as that is the only internet access I have out where I live. I will certainly keep your information available and I sincerely appreciate the offer for help.

Roger

Hi Roger,
My university uses Blackboard. It depends mostly on how your professors set up their Blackboard sites, but I have found it to be very JAWS friendly. I have taken a number of online courses and as long as they were set up where the professors posted all content directly to Blackboard and we didn't have to use an access card to get to some other learning site, the online courses were great. I did not have many that required the use of an access card. There is also an accessable Blackboard iPhone application, and I'm sure the Android Platform has one as well. I believe Blackboard is responsive to accessibility feedback, as I have noticed some features become more accessable throughout my college career.
If you have any spacific questions regarding certain features, feel free to email me. My email address is hollyc2013 at gmail.com

I hope this information is helpful,
Holly Carneal
