Hello, folks. We decided to do a grammar class on Thursday, November 17. If
you want to submit pieces of writing to me in advance, please submit them to

president at nfbmo.org. Please use Grammar Assignment in your subject.

If I see errors, I will make suggestions and send them back to you, but the
communication between us will not be public. If I decide to use something
sent to me as examples in the class, I will not use your name.

I suggest that as reading material, you consider getting the book

Grammar Girl's quick and dirty tips for better writing DB67697

By Fogarty, Mignon. Short of one-on-one training with real exercises, this
is the best book I've ever seen for catching the most common mistakes and
giving easy tips for remembering how to do things correctly.

If you have thoughts about the first topic we should pursue, please let me
know. I think that the comma is one of the most difficult parts of
punctuation to master, and, although I won't tell you that I know all of the
rules, I know a few of them that will be helpful.

Although we will send out reminders ahead of time, the phone number will be
(712) 432-0180. Let's use the passcode 53276 or l e a r n.
