What did you get on the topic of what does it mean to live the life you
want? I'd love to explore this more in the Braille Monitor and in
discussions and speeches. Thank you.

Subject: [Nfbmo] Social Media update

Hello everyone,
I am posing out update about what we have been doing on our social media. So
far it just insist of Facebook.
Here is a break down of what we are trying to post and when.
Mondays are chapter and division meeting postings for the week.
Tuesday promoting Missouri events. Such as the Empowerment and Employment
seminar, board meetings, and other events.
Wednesday we are trying to post videos.
Thursday is our discussion day. We are posting questions about topics that
blind / visually impaired people have to deal with. Topics such as what does
live the life you want mean to you? what ways do you read? things like that.

Friday is posting about our national stuff. So people in missouri know whats
going on outside the state.
We are also posting the immediate releases that are sent out on the list
serve. These are posted whenever they come out.
This is what we have been doing for a little bit. Not everyday does
something get posted however its a work in progress. We have been getting
over 1000 views per week. This just means people are seeing what we posst.
It does not mean they like it. I would love it if more people would like the
post or even better share them. Especially if its something like your
chapter meeting. The more shares the more views and the more people will
know what we are doing here in Missouri. When you share its a great way for
your friends and family to get to know what your involved in.
We have considered doing a training for those who need basic 101 Facebook
knowledge. If anyone would be interested let us know and we can schedule
something. If we need to we can walk you through setting up a Facebook
account.
If there are any other questions or suggestions for what you would like to
see on the social media let me know.

See everyone soon.
