[Nfbmo] Regarding NFBMO elections

Hi.

As you may know, the election process for member positions on the NFB of MO
is getting underway.
I would like to formally announce that I am running for the position of
Second Vice President.

For those of you who might not know me that well, I would like to give you
a little insight into my background.
I am a blind vendor, going on 34 years in the Business Enterprise Program,
and am currently the Contract Manager
of the Military Dining at Fort Leonard Wood. During my tenure in the
Program, I have served 2 terms as President, 1
term as Board Member, 2 full terms as Secretary, and currently serving my
third term as Secretary of  the Blind Vending
Managers Executive Committee.

I have been serving on the Governor's State Rehabilitation Council for the
Blind since 2008, and am serving as it's Secretary.
I am President of the Missouri Association of Blind Merchants, and
Treasurer of the Show Me Chapter. I am a Board Member
on the National Association of Blind Merchants, and a Board Member of the
NFB of MO, and have made numerous trips to the
State Capitol, as well as to Washington D.C. fighting on behalf of blind
issues.

It would be a great honor to serve you as Second Vice President of the NFB
of MO, and I would appreciate you vote.
