I agree that the plus has longer life. I found it just a bit too big to comfortably fit in my pocket, but it is a real performer.

I totally agree. I am very impressed with the 7's memory capacity and the longer battery life.  If you can upgrade to a 7, I would definitely do so.

I agree with Fred, and the 7 is more waterproof or resistant than other phones in the iPhone series.

Hello Brian. If you're going to upgrade your phone then think about getting the iPhone 7. Reason I say that is because it has a much better camera. You do not need the 7+ because the camera just wouldn't be of great value to you. Also another consideration is the memory the memory jumps from 32 GB to 128 GB. Depending on how many apps you have on your phone you may want to consider the larger size plus the fact that leaves you a lot of room for storage also you should consider getting Anna Dresner's book about the iPhone, latest version, available from National braille press.
