Good morning Federation Family,

It is with sadness and thankfulness that I write you this morning to
let you know that Larry Arnold past away this morning at 6:50. It's
sad because we have lost a kind, giving strong friend, there is
thankfulness because he is know longer suffering, in pain or missing
Robin or his eldest son Larry Gene.

Larry served in Viet Nam and went blind several years later from
issues not connected with Viet Nam. He thought his life was over
because he was blind. Until he met Billie Weaver one day on a bus and
she helped him see that his life was just beginning.

Larry worked tirelessly with the Federation, RSB, his church and
numerous other projects to help people. He gave tirelessly of his
time and resources he even opened his home to several people who
needed help. Even when Larry was disappointed and taken advantage of
he still kept giving.

His family, friends, church, the Federation, Springfield and everyone
who was ever touched by Larry Arnold will miss him greatly.

At this time there are no arrangements that I am aware of. As soon as
I hear of any I will pass them along. I do know that a memorial
service will be held in his honor by several of his closest friends
here in Springfield.

Thank you for all your thoughts, prayers and support through this lon
time. I know he appreciated it, and he loved every one of you.

Sincerely,
Erin Joy Magoon
