Subject: Blast from the Past

Hi Nancy,
Are you still in St. Louis? I am working with some Washington Universitty
students who are developing a better mechanism for diabetics to ensure that
the blood is properly placed on the test strip for use with the Prodigy and
similar glucometers. .
I am looking for one or two Blind people in the St. Louis area who would be
willing to act as testers for the product.
Please call me at 215.313.0550 to discuss. If you are no longer in St.
Louis, or if you have absolutely no interest in this, please don’t feel
obliged in any way. I don’t want to send out a mass mailing, because this
is a two semester long project, and I don’t want to overwhelm the students
with hundreds of people who would like to test this product. So, please use
your discretion. This is not scheduled to go into production, and we won’t
necessarily see anything like in on the market. In fact, I think it’s more
likely that we’ll see a glucometer on our arm in the form of an Apple Watch
in the future, which would make this obsolete.
Anyway, would enjoy hearing from you.
All the Best,
Suzanne Erb
