A Resolution Regarding Resolutions

               Whereas the National Federation of the Blind of Missouri will have its 56th Annual Convention in Jefferson City from April 5 through 8, 2018; and

               Whereas one of the most important things that happens at conventions is that members get to vote on resolutions; and

               Whereas Erin Magoon Chairs the Resolution Committee; and

               Whereas Daniel Garcia recently sent Chair Magoon a draft of a proposed resolution: Now therefore,

               Be It Resolved by Daniel Garcia, in the National Federation of the Blind of Missouri Mailing List, on this 13th day of January, 2018, that Daniel urges anyone interested in shaping the direction of the National Federation of the Blind of Missouri policy to submit a resolution to Chair Magoon as soon as possible so the Resolution Committee can have time to review the text; and

               Be It Further Resolved that Daniel urges members to use this message as a template when writing their resolutions

               Be It Further Resolved that Daniel Encourages NFB members to review the June, 2017 Blind Missourian to get more examples on how to write resolutions
