Also, if you were your fit bit and head steps from the past few days and just have not sent your Fitbit yet, please do so today. There is still opportunity to do so. Thanks! Sheila

We did finish in 4th place out of 16 teams. However, the 3 teams in
front of us did not have very many members as none of them had more than
12 members far from the 25 teams are supposed to have for the Anthem
USABA Fitness Challenge. It is much easier to get a high average with a
small team with one or two enthusiastic walkers.
My verdict is we are
all winners! The average walker on our team did 15,507 steps a day and
more importantly several folks increased their daily step count during
the challenge
My best estimate is that we walked in total of 1,100 miles or from
Kansas City to Washington D.C. For the month of November, we are still
in first place among all 16 teams.
So, keep on stepping.

Subject: [NFBMO] Turkey trot
Hi all,
I hope everyone is enjoying the Thanksgiving weekend. For those of you
in the national fitness challenge, keep up the good work in
participating in the turkey trot until midnight tomorrow night. Every
step counts both in the turkey trot and in the national fitness
challenge. In fact, we need every step. I have seen our team go up and
down and I am proud of our efforts. Please remember to wear your fit bit
and sync regularly. We are currently in fourth place in the turkey trot.
I encourage each and everyone of you to get as many steps as you can eat
day-this is a team effort and our steps our average. So I am asking each
person to give 100%. Thank you, Robin House
