Carol and I came up with a challenge for us in the St. Louis USABA
Anthem BlueCross/Blue Shield Fitness Challenge to compete against each
other to see if we can boost our counts. Here it is:

The Great Show-Me Challenge beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Friday March 1
and ending on Thursday March 7 at 11:59 p.m.
Our state is being divided into four teams based mostly on geographical
locations. The teams will compete against one another to see which team
has the largest percentage step increase from their average daily steps
from the month of February to the first seven days in March. Also, we
will see which person in each group has the individual percentage step
increase.
Get those competitive juices flowing, This contest is only for pride of
accomplishment and to see which chapter/team has the get up and go!
Free feel to name your teams. The teams consist of 10 to11 persons and
here they are:

We will take readings of everyone's steps shortly after Midnight on the
night of Feb. 28 and then again on the overnight of March 7. We will
then calculate the percentage change for each person and team based on
average daily step counts. We may also try to give some interim numbers
but cannot promise this.
So, let's have fun and keep on stepping!
Gene and Carol
