[NFBMO] Inaccessible Job Applications Was RE: Blind Pension backpay update

Yes. Very frustrating when we go to apply for a job, and there is an inaccessible test that has to be taken before our application will even be considered. But, then you have to ask yourself, is the software used in the call centers even accessible? Who would know, if we aren't even able to get in the door? It has been a long while since I had to deal with this, but even then, I never saw a site with inaccessible applications that didn't say they were an "equal opportunity employer". For my friends who are Jaws users, that phrase was in quotes.

Maybe this should be on our agenda for change. If tests keep us out, we must target those tests. As a charter user, I'm glad to learn more and try to help.

Hi,

It would be nice as spectrum charter won't hire people who can't complete the inaccessible pre-screening process but meant more as a joke.

Hi, friend. May you get enough of them that you have to think of creative ways to stay below the limit. I do love your creative thinking. And to think I wrote such a long message, and yours was so brief and to the point.

Warmly,

Gary

Hi,

If you are in danger of exceeding the 30k limit, you can send a donation to Bryan Schulz.

There is no waiver! If the back pay puts you over the limit of $30,000 spend the overage right away and I would suggest a couple thousand more right away. The suggestions previously given are good ones. If you do not have any of these kind of expenses perhaps replenish your wardrobe, get a new Television, or even upgrade your computer. I am not suggesting a spending spree but just spending what is needed to maintain eligibility on items you perhaps been wanting for a long time like replacing a ten year old computer.
Keep the receipts in case FSD requests. It is still possible that you could be found ineligible for the month you receive the money.

I have heard nothing official about this, but if you are really close to exceeding the limit of $30,000, I suspect you should find a worthwhile project that only a chunk of money would let you accomplish. If you fear that a washer or dryer is on its last legs, this might be a good time to replace. If your water heater is over fifteen years old, think about it.
If you have credit card debt, get rid of it. I think it would be foolish for people to go on a spending spree, but I know that many large ticket items are easier to get when you can pay cash and when they don't threaten your monthly budget.

It may be that there is some waiver of the maximum assets limit, but I haven't heard it. A little planning can go a long way. I stand to be corrected if anyone else has a different take on this issue.

Are they going to make you spend it all in 30 days?
