Good Afternoon,

Please see below regarding the Missouri as a Model Employer Talent Showcase.

Missouri as a Model Employer Talent Showcase for Jefferson City and surrounding areas

Last winter, Governor Mike Parson announced an initiative aimed at making Missouri a Model Employer by helping more individuals with disabilities obtain competitive, integrated employment in state government, and serving as a model example to the employer community.

As a result of this initiative, we would like to invite you to attend the first Missouri as a Model Employer Talent Showcase. The Missouri as a Model Employer Talent Showcase<http://MissouriMOCOC.weblinkconnect.com/External/WCPages/WCWebContent/WebContentPage.aspx?ContentID=3576> is a reverse career fair that will provide job seekers with a physical, mental or cognitive disability an opportunity to showcase their achievements and talents to potential state agency and local employers in the mid-Missouri region. The Talent Showcase will be held Thursday, October 10, 2019, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Missouri State Capitol, 3rd Floor Rotunda.

We encourage you to help prepare individuals you serve to join us on October 10th to meet with hiring representatives to make meaningful connections and find outstanding employment opportunities.
