I would like to echo Dennis's sentiments. I truly enjoyed my first NFB Mo state convention. It was nice to put voices to some of the frequent emailers. I joined the student division while at convention and joined the guide dog division shortly before convention.I look forward to being a more active participant in this great organization. Oh, and as a side note, thank you to everyone who stopped by the On The Go Dog Gear table. Our sales were fantastic even among people that aren't currently guide dog handlers. My dog Jan also enjoyed making some new canine friends. I look forward to seeing you all next year in Saint Louis.

I would like to take a second to thank the Springfield chapter and Gene Coulter for a fabulous convention.  The hotel was excellent, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and the banquet meal was one of the better ones I have ever had.  Janice Grisham, Mary Yearwood, Hal and Becky Boyer and the rest of the Springfield chapter did an awesome job with the banquet and the karaoke jail was very entertaining.

 

Thanks also to President Shelia Wright for putting together such a diverse and enjoyable convention program.

 

Finally, let me say that it was such a joy to be able to meet in person again and to see old friends while making new ones as well.
