It is with tremendous sorrow that I inform you of Allen's passing on last
evening. Allen has a long history of service to our NFB movement and he'll
be greatly missed. Farther information will be forthcoming as received.
Please, lest continue to keep the Harris family in our thoughts and prayers.

Sending love and support from the NFB of Missouri to our Michigan, Iowa, and
Alabama affiliates, and also to the many members across the country who knew
Allen as their friend and colleague. My earliest memories of Allen go back
to the mid seventies. He played a role in increasing opportunities for all
of us and will be missed. Allen, we were blessed to know you and we will see
you someday!
