Greetings,

First, this week is the first anniversary of the Affiliate's Archives in
that time we have placed over 17 Gigabites of information in the archives
for safe keeping and historical purposes.

We are ready for a new phase in these efforts. It seems that we are always
needing photos for one purpose or another therefore we are developing a
Photo Gallery in the public section of the archive. The purpose is to allow
folks to look at some of our past and present events and allow leaders to
pluck down photos for public relations or fund raising purposes. All photos
must be in good taste and either G or PG rated and show no illegal activity.

All members are invited to share their photos making sure they are
appropriately tagged with a file name that tells what the photo is in as few
words as possible, like "1988 Dolly Parton accepting tenBroek Award."

There are two ways to submit:

*	Email one photo at a time to Archives at NFBMo.org
<mailto:Archives at NFBMo.org>
*	Either mail or give an thumb drive to me. I will return the thumb
drive once the files have been uploaded.

If you would like to mail photos send them to:

Eugene Coulter

1504 Furlong Drive

Columbia MO 65202-4851

Or simply hand me the drive at any NFB event. Of course, any member of the
Data Retention Committee would be happy to help you as well.

All photos should be NFB related or at least show blind people in action and
will be reviewed for their appropriateness.

It is our hope that enough pictures are received that will have to have
sub-folders dealing with various categories like "Blind People at Work or
"Blind People at Play."

Thank you for whatever photos you can provide.

Sincerely,

Your Data Retention Committee
