[NFBMO] New Scam, BEARE!!!!

Friends,

There is another new scam going around.
• Fraudster sends you an email or text asking for  confirmation of a
payment.
• You reply, “I didn't make the payment.”
• Fraudster may then call you pretending to be the bank or business, maybe
even using a fake phone number.

There is also a Facebook scam where a message comes from someone that you
know stating, "Guess who died today".  If you click on the link, your
Facebook account and possibly your device becomes infected.  After
infection, your Facebook account will start doing the same message to your
friends.

Never respond to or click on any links in these types of emails or texts.
If you are concerned that it may be legitimate, call the company or
individual on an independently verified phone number.  Do NOT use the phone
numbers that came with the text or email.

Just be safe.
