The Diabetes Action Network board invites you to an informative conversation
with Yasmin Avila. This will be held on Wednesday, June 22, at 8 PM eastern.

Yasmin Avila is a diabetic and blind professional. She lives in Oklahoma and
has worked for many years in the Rehabilitation field. As a Rehabilitation
Teacher and VR Counselor, she assists blind and visually impaired diabetic
clients in independent living and employment training. Yasmin also has a 13
year old diabetic son. Yasmin enjoys talking about this topic because she
believes it is possible to take care of yourself, have a good life, and a
promising future if you are diabetic and are losing or have lost your
vision.
