Hi,

Nice description, I was wondering if there was a button for siry.

Could you guess how wide/long your phone is?

My upgrade is less urgent as I just found out my first twelve weeks for sure will be virtual.

Thanks,

Bryan

Hi, Brian. I have the iPhone 13 pro model.,Michael has described the home screen gesture. Also, they wa I describe it is that it is about a quarter of the way up from the bottom of the screen, when you tap from the bottom and slide up. The app switcher is just a further swipe up the screen. For example, if you are on the home screen, or in another app, a slide about halfway up the screen, and letting go, is going to land you on the app switcher. Also, triple tap of your side button is going to be your accessibility toggle for turning voiceover off and back on. Holding the side button and the volume down buttons at the same time will take you to the power menu. Holding down the side button alone, activates Siri.

Pressing the side button and volume up, takes a screen shot. I hope I have covered all of the actions of the home button.

Hi Bryan,

I help my mother with her iPhone all the time. It does not have a home button. It took me a little time to get used to. With practice, it isn’t that difficult, in my opinion. With VoiceOver turned on, I position my index finger at the very bottom left of the touch screen. Then, I slowly slide that finger straight up. You will hear two clicks. After that second click is when you lift your finger. The phone will be on the home screen.

Mike

Hi,

When considering a new iPhone,

Did you buy the 2022 se or one without the physical round home button?

If your phone does not have the physical home button,

How much of a pain is it to get used to the different way to use your phone?

Thanks,

Bryan
