I couldn't say it any better. The Louis&Calrk chapter was welcoming, supportive and involved. The registration and hospitality room was very well planned out and lovely food. Kansas City looks forward to hosting the 62nd convention in 2024. Thank you again all who made the convention in 2023 a time to remember and to experience.
Love and thanks,
Julie

I had a blast and appreciate all the work very much. I know that it puts a lot of stress on all of the chapter members who get actively involved, but you folks set the bar high and left me feeling just wonderful about being a part of the NFB of Missouri.

                  Hello Everyone,

I'd like to commend our Lewis & Clark Chapter on the excellent work they did to welcome all of us to St. Louis. The hospitality they provided was excellent. From the warm welcome, the efficient registration & packet pick-up, the service and food in the hospitality Room, and Child Care for the little ones all played a part of making our convention be a welcoming space to share. It was no surprise that President Jenny Carmack, our Youth Coordinator, utilized the talents of our Cane Drivers and Students from our Missouri Association of Blind Students in the opening ceremonies. There was no shortage of door prizes throughout the general sessions and banquet. Congratulations to our Lewis & Clark Chapter who have set the bar very high for the Ivanhoe and Kansas City Chapters. However, I am already hearing discussion from these two chapters about getting organized right away to begin planning our 2024 state convention. The Sixty-Second State Convention of the National Federation of the Blind of Missouri will be held April 11-14, 2024, In Kansas City. Mark your calendar now and plan to attend.

  Sincerely,

  Shelia
