[NFBMO] HB 510 and HB 812

HB 510, our Blind Pension Certified Mail bill,  was heard in House General
Laws Committee on Feb. 14. The committee has not voted it out yet. However,
it usually takes a week or more for this to happen. 

HB 812, our Accessible Prescription Bill,  has been referred to the  Health
and Mental Health Policy Committee but has not  yet been scheduled for a
hearing.

HB 510 has two co-sponsors Reisch and Plank both of Boone County.

HB 812 still has no co-sponsors.

Our members should follow-up with the representatives in your area and those
you visited to urge them both to co-sponsor and urge them to push for
hearings on both bills. Assuming HB 510 is voted favorably out of the
General Laws committee it will be referred to a rules committee before it
can reach the floor.
