Our NFB of Missouri convention is drawing near! This year our parents
seminar will be a breakout session, from 3:00-5:00 P.M., Saturday, April 13.
The convention will be held at the Hilton Airport Kansas City, in Kansa C.
We would love to have you for the entire convention, or for our Saturday
sessions, or just for the opportunity to meet with other Missouri and Kansas
parents and families. I will be sharing all about the youth programs NFB of
MO has to offer. We have some exciting opportunities coming up for our blind
kids, ages 4-21. This is also an excellent opportunity for those with blind
children under 4, to network with other parents. I will be bringing a fun
activity for blind and sighted children to enjoy during this time as well.
Who am I? I am Linda Coccovizzo, blind mom to two blind children, ages 20
and 18. I also happen to be blind. My worst times raising my girls, were
when I tried to take on the world on my own, bearing the burden of my
failures to make things work for my girls, to the point that I couldn't
enjoy the successes. My best times were when I remembered that saying we
have all heard that it takes a village to raise a child. Raising blind
children is no different. Come and help me build our NFB of Missouri Parents
of Blind Children village.
Please reach out to me for questions at:

Share with other parents and families of blind children!
Looking forward,
