[NFBMO] A Bylaw change

Bylaw change proposed by Shelia Wright

 

Modify  sections 6.03 and 6.04 to add a new award and change the nomination
deadline in the listings and add new sections  6.40 through 6.42. 

Old language:

6.03 These awards shall include but are not limited to the Kenneth Jernigan
Award, the Jacobus tenBroek Award, and the Gary L. Wunder Award.

 

6.04 The nomination deadline for the Jernigan award, tenBroek Award, and
Gary L. Wunder Award shall be February 15.

 

 

New language and additional sections: 

6.03 These awards shall include but are not limited to the National
Federation of the Blind of Missouri Affiliate Award, Kenneth Jernigan Award,
the Jacobus tenBroek Award, and the Gary L. Wunder Award.

 

6.04 The nomination deadline for the National Federation of the Blind of
Missouri Affiliate Award, Jernigan award, tenBroek Award, and Gary L. Wunder
Award shall be forty-five days prior to state convention.

 

 

6.40 The National Federation of the Blind of Missouri Affiliate Award

6.41 This award is presented at the discretion of the State president to any
individual or group outside of the National Federation of the Blind who has
made a singular significant contribution to the lives of Blind Missourians
that is deemed worthy of being so honored. 

 

6.42 Members of the affiliate may submit nominations to the state president
for consideration.
