[NFBMO] Sad to Report

Yesterday I called our friend and longtime colleagues Tom and Helen Stevens.
A little over a month ago I went to interview Tom for the National
Federation of the Blind archive. When I called yesterday to find out how
they were doing, Helen told me that they are finding that the service Home
Instead is not enough and that they are currently working on finding and
assisted living facility. Given the location of their son Eric, they will
likely be moving to Moberly. I will stay in touch and continue to report. My
heart hurts, but I know that we are talking about two people who have
enjoyed good lives, have appreciated them, and are both convinced that when
they leave this life there will be something far better.
