Hi Gary,
It’s great to hear from you. You’re absolutely right. Being discharged from Boeing was the most painful and traumatic experience I ever went through in life. However, I now understand that everything happens for a reason. I’m able to see the positive aspects of determination now. It’s like that old saying: when God closes one door, he opens another. Had I not been fired, I wouldn’t be at Citibank today. My teammates are very inclusive at Citibank. Anytime I have accessibility issues, they’re always available to help. We use these accessibility issues as opportunities to improve the company. That’s what’s great about it.

I remember some of your frustration, but I also remember that you had an undying determination to make things better. Some of what happens to us comes as a result of blessings, and some through grit and hard work. Whatever that mixture, hallelujah to you! Thank you for sharing.

I am even working with people from around the world. It’s interesting meeting people from places like India and Singapore. Part of my job is also testing Jaws compatibility with internal websites. I helped to build up the internal engineering SharePoint site. It’s just all-around great.
