I think that Within the Grace of God and The Cross of Blindness are fantastic speeches.

Subject: [NFBMO] A question about Dr. tenBroek

Several days ago I had an email asking why Dr. tenBroek was not featured more prominently in our Federation literature given that he is the founder of our organization. Perhaps this link will help for people who want to read more about what this outstanding intellectual has written as it relates to banquet addresses.

I think that speech was either 2020 or 2021. There is another speech and I believe it was either 2018 or 2019 called "authenticity, diversity and synergy of the organized blind". If If you want to go way back to our founding president, there is the parliament of man: the Federation of the world. That might work as well.

Sincerely,

Camille Tate

I believe that the 2021 banquet speech could serve as a resource. I do remember that it focused much attention on how some chapters became more inclusive. Am I on the right track with this one?

Subject: [Chapter-Presidents] Assistance with a resource if possible

Greetings Leaders:

I am currently taking a college class on Advocacy and Policy. I am enjoying it tremendously, but I could use some assistance from your vast knowledge base. I am asked to write about an organization I am familiar with and illustrate how over time, the organization changed their policies to become more inclusive to other races, cultures and communities such as the LGBTQ community. I can speak or write about this fluently, but like any good professor, mine is asking for citations. Have any monitor articles, speeches or other publications been written that I may reference in my writing? I appreciate anyone who might point me in the right direction.

Thank you in advance.

Kaye Baker
