Subject: [NFBMO] Lewis & Clark Chapter happenings
Hello Friends;
The Lewis & Clark Chapter has two things happening this month that I want to share with everyone.
First, we have the answer to your dinner delimma, at least for one night. If your house is like mine, the question of what to have for dinner pops up quite often. Well, on Friday October 11, the decision is easy, you should have a meal of chinese food from Panda Express! All day on October 11 Panda Express will donate 28% of orders placed through the app or their website made for carry out or delivery from any Panda Express location nation wide. All you have to do is place the below code in the fundraising code field when ordering. It is as easy as that. Grab dinner for the family, lunch with a friend, or even a mid day snack and help the Lewis & Clark Chapter with this awesome fundraiser. Oh, and since this is a nation wide opportunity, please share this with your friends and family members all over the U.S.
Here is a link to the page that gives you details on how to make orders:

And, here is the code to put in the fundraising code field on the app or website:

Second, if you live in the St. Louis area, or will be in the area on October 12, I encourage you to join the chapter meeting. There will be someone from the St. Louis County Board of Election presenting at the chapter meeting. They will share information about voting on November 5 (or during the early voting time period), answering questions, and demonstrating a ballot marking device. The meeting will be 3:00 - 5:00 PM on October 12 at the St. Louis Society for the Blind and Visually Impaired at 8770 Manchester Rd. This should be an informative and beneficial presentation.
I told you, this is an exciting time for the Lewis & Clark Chapter. Please feel free to reach out to me any time if you have any questions about these events or the chapter in general.
Enjoy the upcoming weekend!

Private voting is a right, it should not require sight. <https://nfbmo.org/PrivateVoting>
The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.
