Hello All;
I know the weather has just begun to cool off, but we are already making
plans for next summer.
The Missouri affiliate has successfully held a BELL Academy program every
year since 2014. Families have truly enjoyed them, and several of the kids
who participated in them have continued to be involved in NFB in some way.
Now that we have done the traditional 2 week program for more than 10
years, it is time to try something new and exciting. We are currently
working on plans for a 1 week residential BELL Academy for the summer of
2025. This means that we would have the BELL kids stay for 5 straight
nights, doing all of the traditional BELL activities plus several outings,
additional hands-on activities, and more fun games. To be sure that we
would be able to provide a successful and beneficial BELL Academy in this
form we need to ensure that we will have enough volunteers to make it
happen.
We are sending around a volunteer interest survey. We are asking that
anyone who is interested in volunteering please complete the survey. This
is an interest survey and does not commit you to volunteering, but we do
only want those who are serious about volunteering to complete it. Please
share this with your chapter members and others you know who may be
interested in doing this. Below is the link to the form. Please reach out
to me if you have any questions.

Thank you in advance for completing the form and for sharing the link
with others. We will hopefully have more details about the 2025 BELL
Academy very soon.
Have a great week!
