Good morning & happy week of state convention!
There is still time to sign up for Friday morning’s class, presented by University of Missouri healthcare workers.
Here is a synopsis of both classes. Note they are hands-on with full participation from each attendee. You will want to dress comfortably.
DESCRIPTION OF CLASS.
Hands only CPR
1. How to provide high-quality, hands-only CPR training using female manikins
2. How to recognize the signs of cardiac arrests
3. How to initiate the chain of survival
Stop the Bleed
Stop the Bleed is a nationwide program designed to help bystanders become possible lifesavers. Attendees will learn how to identify and then how to stop a life-threatening bleed using pressure, packing, and tourniquets.
The following is a list of registered participants thus far. The presenters are bringing along student volunteers to assist with practice on the mannequins, and would like to get as close to one on one as possible.
If you’d still like to sign up, please let me know as soon as possible. You may send me your intentions at auntnellene at yahoo.com
