I concur, and would also add that yes, the Senate adjourned; but, they did
so after moving the "previous question", which means they shut-down debate
to pass bills -twice.

 

This is considered a traumatic event in the Senate with long-term
implications for the ability for the Senate to function.

It doesn't appear this happened for any real good reason. Of course there is
a likelihood they will be called into special session over the stadium
funding bill.

The Missouri Senate adjourned yesterday for the session a full two days
early without considering dozens of non-partisan House Bills! This,
unfortunately, includes HB 520 the BP certified mail bill.

Why aren't they back at work today?
