Greetings, 

I am reaching out to you as someone who has attended national convention activities related to sports to ask for your help. 

We are working to grow our National Federation of the Blind team for Philadelphia Race Weekend, and those connected with sports activities are among the best people to help us reach runners, walkers, athletes, and fitness-minded supporters. Whether you are planning to participate in Philadelphia, have taken part in previous Team NFB or Coast to Coast events, or simply know people who may be interested in joining us, we would appreciate your help spreading the word. Sample text is provided below my signature.

Please consider sharing Team NFB with your networks. You probably know runners, walkers, triathletes, cyclists, fitness enthusiasts, coworkers, friends, family members, and members of local running or recreation clubs who may be interested in participating. A personal recommendation from someone already connected to the National Federation of the Blind and to sports and recreation is often the best way to encourage someone to get involved.

Here are a few ways you can help:

*	Share information about the National Federation of the Blind Team on your social media platforms.
*	Post about your training journey, your athletic goals, or why you choose to support the National Federation of the Blind.
*	Send information about Team NFB to running club email lists, newsletters, websites, Facebook groups, recreation groups, and other communications.
*	Personally invite runners, walkers, and fitness enthusiasts you know who may be looking for their next challenge.

These simple actions help introduce Team NFB to runners and athletes who may never have heard about our organization, our mission, or the opportunity to make a difference through their miles. Every social media post, newsletter blurb, running club email, Strava tag, personal invitation, and creative idea helps us reach potential teammates.

Together, we can build our Philadelphia Race Weekend team while raising awareness and support for the aspirations of blind people across the nation.
