The Victor Reader Stream 3 is a lightweight, portable audio player that is
remarkably versatile. It can play almost any kind of audio file, including
books from the National Library Service and Bookshare. It has a first-rate
recorder for making notes, and it is good enough to record meetings and
capture even distant speakers. The ability to mark one's place in any
recording is extremely useful. In a book, it makes it possible to mark
important quotations, and in your own recordings, it lets you mark important
points or commitments you have made. Battery life is good, recharge time is
short, and the Stream will easily fit in a pocket. Its size is a great
advantage unless you misplace it, so be careful when putting it down. With
all the content it can hold, you may find yourself unwilling to put it down.
