[NFBMO] IMPORTANT STATE CONVENTION HOTEL UPDATE

I am told that there are hotel rooms to be had at the Stoney Creek for our
convention. Call 573-442-6400 during regular business hours on or before March 20
and use code 26NFBLAC and make it absolutely clear that you are with the National
Federation of the Blind. They should quote a room rate of $99.00 a night plus tax
(which comes out to just over $222 for two nights and $333 for three nights). Our
contact at the hotel has assured me that all is cleared up.

However, just in case, if you are denied the ability to book a room I suggest you
do two things: 

First, ask to speak to Sarah Richardson (sales manager), you likely will have to
leave a voice mail.

Second send me an email to GCoulter at NFBMO.org <mailto:GCoulter at NFBMO.org>  with
your name, phone number and email address and I will make a secondary inquiry on
your behalf.

 

I want to know about any problems that folks have. IMPORTANTLY I believe there is
no way under all of the moon and stars that our room block will be extended beyond
March 20! The moral is call now.
