[NFBMO] [Nfbnet-members-list] FW: Announcement about Volunteer Support Service Providers needed for DeafBlind Attendees for National Convention

The DeafBlind Division is looking for volunteers to volunteer for the
Volunteer Support Service Provider program at the National Nfb Convention in
Austin, Texas. The Volunteer Support Service Provider would be facilating
communication to the deafblind attendee about visual and environmental
information to support DeafBlind attendees as they navigate convention
spaces and interactions.  It is not required for the Volunteer Support
Service Provider to know sign lanuage, but needs to have a way of
communiating with the DeafBlind individual. The Volunteer Support Service
Provider will be provided training on the first day of the convention. The
Volunteer Support Service Provider will also be compensated for their
volunteer time. Any perspective volunteers can go to the following website
to sign up to be a volunteer support service provider.
