<td class="rptdetailC" colspan="4"><ul> <li> Respond to and resolve technical queries and issues from staff.</li> <li> Configuration of hardware and software; carrying out planned maintenance and upgrades to desktop systems and software.</li> <li> Ensure the proper operation of all computers, servers, printers, and all components of the computer network.</li> <li> Maintain up-to-date and consistent PC and laptop inventory.</li> <li> Assist with the operation and maintenance of Wide Orbit automation system.</li> <li> Identifies, troubleshoots and resolves hardware-, software- and network-related problems encountered by end-users.</li> <li> Configures and installs Windows workstations and Macintosh operating systems in response to the demands of the workplace.</li> <li> Trains end-users on the use and features of the various operating systems and applications on the various platforms.</li> <li> Works with vendors to resolve hardware operating system issues; researches and tests possible solutions and implements solutions.</li> <li> Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, or electronically.</li> <li> Research questions using available information resources.</li> <li> Advise user on appropriate action.</li> <li> Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention.</li> <li> Stay current with system information, changes and updates.</li> <li> Other duties as assigned.</li></ul></td>
