<html><head><meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"></head><body dir="auto">It might be worth addressing this directly as a group to get kegislators to understand why this is sssential especially since they\u2019re trying,to push people off of social security programs. Transit and pedestrian infrastructure are essential for us to be able to navigate our cities, regions and state independently and safely. Employers in Springfiekd thought we needed someone to get us there or needed other extras he,p but that\u2019s not the case for a lot of us. If you\u2019ve got a local or regional transportation advocacy group working on multimodal transportation network expansion I would strongly encourage you to get involved so you can work with them on improving local access as well as increasing the collective voice. It has come up before how conflicts with other transportation methods can be an issue like people getting hit by bikes because busses were dropping blind people and others in the road instead of the sidewalk. I brought that up to my local collaborative once I understood what the issue was and they got it so busses were going to the curb. These other groups won\u2019t know their actions are impacting us unless we say something and I believe that working together instead of against each other would benefit us. The Missouri bicycle and pedestrian federation is the state org working on walking, biking, and transit advocacy. I think it would be beneficial to us to find out who is the contact person at state level and make a connection as well as chapters looking into local or regional contacts so we have xonnextuins at both ends.<div><div dir="ltr">Carolyn McGhee</div><div dir="ltr"><br><blockquote type="cite">On Mar 3, 2026, at 20:59, Daniel Garcia via NFBMO <nfbmo@nfbnet.org> wrote:<br><br></blockquote></div><blockquote type="cite"><div dir="ltr">\ufeff
