<div dir="ltr"><div>Greetings Madame President and NFB MO,</div><div><p>As I sit and contemplate my progress of another very successful month in my therapy practice, I am writing to formally notify you of an important decision regarding my involvement within the NFB of Missouri.</p>
<p>I am requesting that I no longer be considered the coordinator of the Sports and Recreation Group, a role you asked me to serve in during our phone call on March 24, 2025, nor the Accessibility Coordinator. As previously communicated during our phone conversation on December 29, 2025, I had indicated that I would be taking this step. This decision is grounded in the exponential growth of my business, where I anticipate a 30 percent increase this year from an already sustained 53 billable hours per week, alongside my continued commitment to prioritizing my family.</p>
<p>Given these priorities, I am asking that you consider appointing another valuable member to these roles. Specifically, for the Sports and Recreation Group, I strongly recommend Mike Hopper, whom I initially inquired about for this position. I offer my full endorsement of him or any other capable member you deem appropriate to carry this work forward.</p>
<p>At this time, I want to be clear and resolute: I hold no elected, appointed, or official positions within the NFB of Missouri, and I ask that this be formally noted. Furthermore, I will not be reconsidering any appointments, nor will I accept any additional roles. This position is firm and will only be revisited after the 2027 state convention.</p>
<p>While I am stepping away from formal leadership roles, I will remain an active and engaged member within the Springfield chapter and plan to continue attending open state board meetings. My commitment to the mission remains, but my capacity must be aligned with my current priorities and responsibilities.</p>
<p>I encourage all members to continue striving to \u201clive the life they want,\u201d as I am actively doing the same and living a dream that I have worked diligently to build.</p>
