Good afternoon all,

I have been away for some personal reasons which I will not discuss here. I
received several emails inquiring about my absences including whether or not
I was in jail, just let you know I have not been in jail. I do not wish to
discuss why have been gone I hope that you're able to respect that.

State convention is coming up very shortly. We have a lot to do to get ready
for that. This includes but not limited to finalizing contract for the food,
inviting guests, setting up schedule, and finalizing the registration fee. I
know that Jim is working on a meeting that will happen here soon to resolve
these issues. And I look for that to be happening in the next week or so. I
have been notified that Mark Riccobono will be our national rep that will be
at convention.

One other important piece of information that I am working on. We are in
jeopardy of losing NFB Newsline here in Montana if we cannot come up with
the funding sources. I am working with other organizations including the
state library department and possibly MAB to work to fund this program so
that we do not lose it.
