Wonderful Jim, Joy, - every one of you! It is as Diane McGeorge said
to me yesterday at the Denver Chapter meeting. We were talking about
the incredible news program and Harold and Sheila's courage and
articulate roles, and Diane said that it made her feel proud to be
part of the NFB and the work and the impact we have collectively. And
that is how I feel about the stance the Leiglands made, and about
Jim's impassioned speech and Joy's reply and call to stand with Harold
and Sheila. I feel proud and especially proud of the NFB of Montana!
I want to laugh and cry all at once!
Harold and Sheila, Diane McGeorge asked me to send her best to you!
Jim, Lelia's daughter told me a few years ago that Lelia was a staunch
Federationist - through and through! I think she would naturally feel
sorrow that the MAB could never realize the role and opportunity of
being in the Federation, or that it never realized its potential
either. But she would be proud to be a part of us today in the NFB!
